Sound problem on playback?

I have just uploaded a video from my camcorder through firewire and when i play the video back on my laptop the sound seems to be stuttering all over, anyone know what has happened and if it can be fixed?

Also the video is a bit stuttery aswell

does it play alright on the camcorder?

Is it high def? If you have an intel graphics card trying to play a high-def movie, it can struggle.

What's your graphics card, Rizla? If it's not very good, or if the camcorder recorded in HD, then that's probably the problem.
