I wake up in the morning and whack on the sexy cream, and I'm ready to go ;)

I'm currently using my first laptop at the moment. I use to use my desktop all time before but I love the laptop mainly becuase it's more moveable  Plus other aspects :P It's nice if you need to do work in the Summer and you can go sit outside with a beer and in the sun instead of sitting in front of a screen in the dark.

If you've got the cash go for it. I've also got a Sony Vaio

Hi I'm Lout's sexy little sex slave ;)

I have two laptops, one for all my Game Design and Sound Design crap, and another for general use. I couldn't havea desktop as I don't have room as keyboards and amps take up half my room, I also like the flexibility of a laptop, like I always have mine on the bed.

Mainly want a laptop cuz I'm looking for a flat, and a desktop will take up to much room.

Plus I do like the idea of being able to move around with it. Just recharging it puts me off.

i'm just in the process of swapping over to a laptop. I bought a 500 quid Toshiba. Kids toys are taking over the house, so we need the extra room getting rid of the desktop will free up.

I use a laptop at home and a desktop at work. I prefer using the laptop as it's better spec and more convenient but when laptops start to fail they are pretty much buggered, whereas with a desktop you can just swap the failing component.

Also with desktops you will get a much better PC for the same money.

Decided to buy it, it went down a tenner so I thought what the hell lol. I see if i use it more than the desktop, and if I don't I can always sell it again :)

Prefer laptops. You can watch the telly/sit with the Mrs whilst surfing, instead of locked away in the spare room/under the stairs surrounded by double decker wrappers

I prefer laptops. But like Lout said, they're a pain in the ass if they begin to fail.

Only thing that worries me is the battery life, I tend to leave my pc on when I am home.

If the Laptop breaks is another worry, not as easy to fix as a PC. But I've never had any problems with PCs so I'm hoping I have none with my laptop.
