Why did you buy it on 3 if you're on Tesco? Anyway, a quick Google suggests it may work with an unlock code you can put in yourself, but you're looking at having to pay £15-20 for the code. 3 should be able to do it for you, but they charge £15 and may not do it if you're not a 3 customer. You can try a store that does unlocking, but I'd expect them to charge the same sort of price. |

I don't actually know. They probably have the specialist software that can issue the code and then they'll input it for you. If you've got a shop near you it may be worth asking as the one near me only charges a tenner not the £15-20 that the websites seem to charge. |

There is always either a shop or a market stall that will unlock it for £10-15. [Hidden Content: Login/Register to View] |

You might not want to use this FREE method because it involves a bit of work but i'll let you decide. |

I was about to say this. The markets are your best bet. That's where I get all my phone needs dealt with, some geezer named Mucker, only charges £8 for unlocking. |

Just call 3 and pay the £15 for them to unlock it, they unlocked my iPhone 4S without any hassle at all. It's not really worth risking unlocking it via some software you can download, much better and safer to do it legitimately. |
